The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under he leadership of Tanimu Turaki (SAN), has celebrated the former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), on his 85th birthday.
Babangida popularly known as IBB was one of the longest serving President in the country who truncated civil rules severally before he stepped aside and handed over he reigns of power to late Ernest Shonekan.
The Interim National Chairman of the PDP in a statement on Sunday in Abuja described IBB as one of the most detribalised Nigerians ever.
“At 85, we celebrate the grace Allah has bestowed upon you and the selfless way you have used that grace, both in your official and personal capacities, making you one of the most detribalised Nigerians ever.,” Turaki said.
