Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has thrown down a bold challenge to heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua, declaring he is ready to step into the ring with him for a ₦1 billion purse.

The controversial singer made the statement on Thursday during a public face-off ahead of his celebrity boxing match against Carter Efe, insisting he has what it takes to defeat the former world champion.

“For ₦1 billion, I’ll take you down,” Portable said confidently, describing himself as the face of Nigerian boxing and daring Joshua to accept the challenge.

Portable and Carter Efe are set to clash on Friday in an exhibition bout at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel.

The singer revealed earlier that he earned ₦40 million for accepting the fight and could receive additional rewards, including ₦50 million and a car, if he wins.

Carter Efe also confirmed that the winner of the match would take home ₦50 million.

Portable has gained attention in Nigeria’s celebrity boxing scene, recording victories over Speed Darlington, Charles Okocha, and Kelvin Power in previous bouts.
