The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the last Saturday, Anambra State governorship election, Prof Charles Soludo has on Tuesday received Certificate of Return from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

The presentation ceremony took place at the Press Centre at INEC office in Awka.

Gov Soludo after receiving his Certificate of Return proceeded to International Conference Center (ICC) where he had a Thanksgiving Meeting with party faithful.

Speaking at the occasion, Gov Soludo said the meeting was meant to show the campaign structure his Certificate of Return which according to him was made possible by the different layers of his campaign councils.

He appreciated and congratulated all the members of the campaign councils for the victory recorded last Saturday.

Gov Soludo also applauded the people of the State for speaking in an unequivocal language in their massive vote for him.

The reelected Anambra State Governor recalled that Ndi-Anambra took over the campaign and backed it up trooping out in an unprecedented manner to vote for him.

He said that his reelection is historical in many facets as his was the third time an incumbent was reelected in Anambra State but added that his reelection was spectacular because he swept 73 % of the total votes cast.

Gov Soludo that his victory would not have been possible without the unflinching support of Okada riders, Keke operators, bus drivers, traders, artisans and others.

Prof. Soludo at the occasion singled out INEC for doing a credible job, commended security agencies for maintaining order and thanked President Ahmed Bola Tinubu (GCFR) who insisted that votes must count last Saturday.
