LP hold Lagos Mega Rally today

The Campaign train of the Labour Party (LP)’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, is in Lagos today, Saturday, February 11, 2023, for what is termed the Lagos Mega City Mega Rally.

The Rally holds at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos with buses stationed at different parts of the city to transport supporters of the LP to the venue of the programme.

Also dubbed the Mother of All Rallies, the programme will feature many performances by leading artists, prominent among who are music stars like J Martin, African China and PSquare. The Mega Rally starts at 10 am.

Before the start of the Rally, however, Mr. Obi is billed to have a One-On-One interactive session with Lagos students at the King Celia Hotel, Yaba, Lagos from 8am same Saturday, February 11, 2023. Free buses are also being stationed at different locations to take all those interested in the interface to the venue.

While the big Rally is going on, a Town Hall meeting will take place at the TBS Banquet Hall from 11 am.

To be hosted by the wives of the LP Presidential Candidate and his running mate, Mrs. Margaret Obi and Hajia Aisha Baba-Ahmed, the meeting has as theme: “Women for a New Nigeria.”
