Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has fired a direct shot at the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, for his absence at the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Conference despite the conference being held close to his residence in Lagos State.

Nigerians via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter had blasted Tinubu over his failure to attend the NBA conference saying he stayed away because he could not match the pair of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi,  both of who were present at the conference.

Reno, who had earlier blasted Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima for wearing a pair of gym shoes (snickers) over a pair of suits took to his verified page to tackle the former governor of Lagos state for being absent at the NBA conference which according to him,  was held just 5.7 kilometers from his home at ‘Bourdillon’.

Shettima, who represented Tinubu, was dressed in a suit and extra-long tie, over a pair of snickers, which stirred immediate reactions from social media users.

Reno Omokri a former presidential aide has knocked the dressing of the vice presidential candidate of Shettima, at the Conference.

Sharing a picture of Shettima at the event on his Twitter page, Omokri wrote: “This is Tinubu’s running mate at the NBA Conference today.

“Look at his feet. Who in his right mind wears a suit and tie and then puts on a pair of gym shoes to a conference?

“If Shettima does not know how to dress himself, how can he address Nigeria’s challenges?”

However, in a series of tweets, Reno while blasting Tinubu for shying away from the event because of Atiku and Peter Obi’s presence, revealed that the event was held close to Tinubu’s residence and hinted that Tinubu will try avoiding the presidential debate for the same reason.
