The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it is not in communication with the United States Court of Northern Illinois on the alleged drug dealings of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Arise Television had quoted the INEC director of publicity, Festus Okoye saying the commission was in touch with the District Court of Northern Illinois.

The statement said the commission is not studying the documents and communicating with the Illinois District Court to establish whether the offence allegedly committed contravenes the Electoral Act.
