…tasks candidates on timely fulfilment of requirements

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II), marking the conclusion of the recruitment process.
In a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, successful applicants were advised to confirm their status by visiting the official Nigeria Customs Service website or checking selected national newspapers.
According to the statement, shortlisted candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing instructions for the next phase of the recruitment process.
Applicants are also expected to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button. After completing these steps, candidates will receive their trainee Identification Number within one week.
The NCS said details on documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and other requirements, will be communicated through its official channels.
The Service warned that failure to comply with the prescribed requirements or timelines could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates and expressed optimism about welcoming them into the Service as they began careers built on professionalism, integrity and service to the nation.
