The Police in Lagos have intercepted an unregistered MAN diesel truck at the exit point of the state, conveying 47 sacks of military camouflage uniforms and 80 cartons of drugs, suspected to be illicit substances.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ambimbola Adebisi, disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that four suspects were arrested and are currently in custody.

The statement noted that preliminary investigation have revealed that the military camouflage uniforms were allegedly being transported to the South-Eastern part of the country.

The statement added, “Investigation is on-going to determine the source, ownership, and intended recipients of the recovered items, as well as the extent of the suspects’ involvement.

“Efforts are also on-going to apprehend other persons connected with the criminal act.”
