The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has outlined procedures and processes telecommunications subscribers could take to file complaints when they feeling’s dissatisfied with services provided by their telecom service providers.
The Commission on its website advised consumers to first lodge their complaints directly with their service provider, either through the provided customer care helpline or by visiting any of its customer care centres to physically lay such complaints.
It advised that where a complaint is not satisfactorily resolved by the service provider after filing the initial complaint or after visiting their office, the affected subscriber can afterwards, escalate the matter to the NCC through its designated consumer complaint channels.
The channels include the NCC 622 Toll-Free Contact Centre and the NCC Consumer Portal at consumer@ncc.gov.ng.
NCC further advised that subscribers can also reach the Commission through its social media platforms, including its Facebook account, facebook.com/nigerian.communications.commission, and X accounts, x.com/consumersNCC and x.com/NgComCommission.
