Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has extended heartfelt goodwill to Christians across Nigeria as they join their brethren worldwide in commemorating this year’s Easter.

The annual celebration, observed in the wake of the forty-day Christian Lenten season, solemnly recalls the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and culminates in His triumphant resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In a message issued from Lagos, Globacom lauded the steadfast devotion of Christians throughout the period of fasting and reflection, urging them to further embrace the virtues of peace, love, and compassion—principles at the very heart of the Christian faith. “Christ exemplified these virtues through His life and ultimate sacrifice for humanity. In racticeg His teachings, we nurture a society guided by harmony, hope, and prosperity,” the company affirmed.

Globacom further reflected on the profound symbolism of Easter, stating, “This season illuminates the eternal cycle of hope reborn, love unceasing, and the triumph of light over darkness. It teaches us the enduring power of sacrifice, forgiveness, and faith, even amidst life’s uncertainties. As we meditate on this sacred time, let us extend kindness to our fellow human beings, walking in humility and grace. The resurrection story inspires courage, urging us to rise above challenges and live with purpose.”

Seizing the festive moment, Globacom also reassured its subscribers of uninterrupted voice, data, and Short Messaging Services, alongside its suite of value-added offerings, throughout and beyond the Easter celebrations. The company encouraged all to savour the holiday season with family and friends, cherishing both togetherness and reflection.
