The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, HE Nyesom Wike, has been hailed as the most performing minister of the FCT since its inception by Barr Alex Edim, Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Nyanya-Karu branch. Edim made the statement while speaking on the developments in his jurisdiction, including the Karu township road project, expansion of the Nyanya-Karshi dual carriage way, and massive water project in Jikwoyi.

Edim praised Wike’s attention to his jurisdiction, saying the area has transformed from a satellite town to a rapidly urbanizing area. He cited the ongoing projects as evidence of Wike’s commitment to development, stating that the area will soon be counted amongst the urban cities of the FCT.

The NBA chairman expressed his support for Wike, stating that the bar branch under his leadership will give him the needed support to succeed. However, he also warned that they will not hesitate to criticize his actions or policies where they are anti-people friendly.

Edim emphasized that the FCT is a complex community that requires a purpose-driven minister, and Wike has proven to be one. He commended Wike’s efforts, saying “kudos Mr minister”
