General Oyinlola said the recoveries highlight the Federal Government’s determination to curb insecurity and end the proliferation of illegal arms across communities.

He urged members of the public to support the government’s efforts toward achieving an arms-free society, noting that Operation SAFE HAVEN has recorded remarkable progress in tackling criminality through both kinetic and non-kinetic strategies.

Receiving the weapons on behalf of the Director-General of NCCSALW, Deputy Director-General Mr. Abdul Adamu commended OPSH for its achievements in disrupting armed criminal networks.

He reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to partnering with security agencies to rid the country of illicit weapons.

Mr. Adamu also appealed to citizens to back the Federal Government’s campaign for the eradication of illegal arms, stressing that collective action remains vital for sustainable peace and security.
