The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), hereby announce that its maintenance crew will carry out a planned maintenence at Gombe 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation from 9am – 6pm on Thursday 14th August, 2025.

During the 9-hours maintenance period, the Gombe 132kV Transmission Substation will receive supply through Jos-Bauchi 132kV transmission line, while Maiduguri and Molai will be fed from Maiduguri Emergency Power Plant (MEPP). Damaturu will also receive suppliy through the Damagun 33kV feeder from Potiskum.

This maintenance will cause a limited supply at the Gombe transmission substation, resulting in temporary power outages in Yola, Taraba, and surrounding areas during the exercise period.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will cause electricity consumers within the affected areas. Power supply will be restored immediately after work is completed.
