The Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo has declared Friday, 18th July, 2025 as work free day for all civil servants and public servants in the State.l to participate in continuous voters registration exercise.

The Head of Service (HoS) for the state, Dame Theodore Okwy Igwegbe announced the work free day in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday.

The HoS said that the declaration is to enable eligible workers travel to their respective communities to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.

“Government recognize the importance of active civil engagement and encourages all to take advantage of the opportunity to complete voters registration, update details, or transfer registration as necessary.

“All Heads of Commissions, Non Ministerial Departments and Permanent Secretaries are requested to take the content of the circular to the attention of their staff and ensure strict compliance,” Dame Igwegbe stressed.
