Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) In Anambra State, Amb. Jude Ezenwafor has vowed to return Anambra State to the party.

In his acceptance speech when he received the Certificate of Return from the National Chairman of PDP, Amb. Umar Damagum, the candidate thanked the party for making it possible for him to become its flag bearer.

“The result of this election is going to surprise the whole world. By the end of this election, other governors will come to learn from me. When I become the governor, I will replicate what I did when I was the Security Adviser to the governor.

“I want to tell all of us here that PDP is Anambra State and Anambra State is PDP. Very soon I will unveil my campaign strategy and it is going involve all of us” he said confidently.

Earlier in his remarks, the PDP chairman stressed that the party has never been as united as it is now in Anambra State. He said the for the first time in a long while, the party conducted a primary election in Anambra without litigations.

“If God wants to help you, he takes out all the thorns along the way. I know we have one united party in Anambra today.

“I want to commend your resilience, your commitment that made you become the flag bearer of this party. I know it’s not easy. But your commitment, belief and sincerity, would see us through this election? Victory would be yours.

“I want to encourage you. You have started well. From the evolution of the state executive to your emergence as our candidate, I think what you need to do is to go back and consolidate. I’m going to make sure that everyone is back on board.  I assure you of our total support and commitment” Damagum assured.

Present at the Presentation was the Acting National Secretary of the Party, Arc. Sentoji Koshedo, members of the National Working Committee and delegates from Anambra State.
