Call for the arrest of our National Chairman, Njoku, barren, mischevious – APGA

The national leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dispelled the rumors of the arrest of its National Chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku, at the premisis of the FCT High Court 40, Bwari, Abuja on Monday April 17, 2023.

It is totally false, unfounded and misleading.

According to Okoro Chinedum Benedict, National Administrative Secretary, APGA, it is utterly senseless for Taiye Agbaje, a reporter with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who was brought to the Bwari High Court by the other party in dispute to have reeled out such vile and bile reportage.

According to him, “obtuse journalists like Mr. Agbaje are often rented by drowning men to sell falsehood and elevate distraction into an article of faith.

“At the FCT Court 40, Bwari, the Nigeria Police seeing that they cannot prove beyond all reasonable doubt, the allegation of forgery leveled against Chief Edozie Njoku, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and others, withdrew the amended charge which included Mrs Ogunseye Adebisi, Secretary to retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Mary Peter Odili.

“The Police Prosecutor, CSP Ezekiel Rimansomte, ‘cleverly’ and technically took backward steps in the charges he initiated against Mrs. Ogunseye Adebisi, on the grounds that the former was taking orders from her Principal, Justice Odili.

“However, the question rational minds should be preoccupied with, is this; is it possible to let Mrs. Ogunseye Adebisi ‘off the hook’, assuming she was guilty, whilst proferring criminal charges on Chief Edozie Njoku whose only offence was that he officially applied for the CTC of a Supreme Court Judgment and it was handed over to him?

“Logic is a process that is built on premises and culminates in conclusion.

“Hence, providing a harmonious concord that is discernible and coherent.

“Simply put, by dropping the charges against Odili’s secretary, the Nigerian police have had rethink of the much advertised, bogus and noisy criminal charges against the APGA National Chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku.

“For the umpteenth time, we have explained to the public that Chief Oye and the Police have no case against Chief Edozie Njoku.

“The whole game is to use the Police as a scarecrow to make the Onwa Ibeku blink or run away from what is his right, so as to retain Chief Victor Oye’s name on INEC website. This decoy was decoded before it was hatched”.

Recall that on March 24, 2023, the Supreme Court declared that Chief Edozie Njoku was undergoing persecution and they exonerated him from all the trumped-up charges of forgery being levelled against him in the name of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
