National Working Committee (NWC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Ambassador Umar Damagun,. Deputy National Chairman North as Acting Chairman of the party.
His apontment was sequel to a court order from a High Court in Benue State that suspended Sen. Iyorchia Ayu from parading himself as PDP National Chairman.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, in a press conference while handing over the baton of leadership to Damagun, said that his appointment was in line with PDP Constitution.
