PDP’s Mutfwang declared governor-elect of Plateau State

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Barr. Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the governorship election in Plateau.

Mutfwang was returned as the winner of the election having scored the highest number of legal votes with 532,227 votes and with the acceptable spread across the state.

His victory returns the PDP to power on the plateau following eight years of the APC.
