Nollywoood star Yul Edochie has slammed popular blogger Linda Ikeji for her choice of words in reacting to his birthday wishes to his first wife, May Yul Edochie.

Yul and his second wife, Judy celebrated his first wife, May, on her birthday.

They took to their social media pages on Friday, September 16, 2022, where they celebrated the mother of four on her birthday.

Yul wrote, “Happy birthday to my wife, my CEO Extraordinaire, QUEEN MAY YUL-EDOCHIE @mayyuledochie I wish you many more beautiful and successful years. May God continue to guide you, protect you and bless you beyond your imagination. Love you forever,”The second wife Judy also wished the birthday celebrant God’s love and protection.

In her blog Linda Ikeji published, “Actor Yul Edochie’ second wife, Juddy Austin, wished his estranged first wife, May Yul Edochie, a happy birthday on her IG page. Yul also wished her a happy birthday but the couple got no acknowledgement from May.

“May is still not following her estranged husband on IG.”

Angered by Linda’s choice of words Yul replied, “Linda you know I have a lot of respect for you. This your caption no gel naa. Estranged wife means a wife who is no longer living with the husband. Both of us are still living in the same house, in our mansion in Ajah. So is she estranged? Peter Obi will always say, ‘go and verify.’ You didn’t verify this one before writing, Linda.”
