Popular Nollwood Actress Chacha Eke has responded to questions about reuniting with her estranged husband filmmaker Austin Faani months after their separation.

In an Instagram live session, the 34-year-old said she was willing to mend fences with Austin “when the chance presents itself”.

During the live session, a fan asked “Why do you still have Faani on your Instagram name?

“Because I’m supposed to, you won’t understand. Hopefully you will eventually, one day,” the Ebonyi-born actress replied.

“You still have the name because you’re gonna get back together soon, will you ever go back by any chance?” Another fan asked.

“Yes, when the chance presents itself. There’s more to me that you guys will ever know,” Chacha responded.

The actress left a shocking message for her four million followers on Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday, June 28, where she revealed that she had been living lie.

The mother of four explained that she left the marriage to movie director Austin Faani because she does not want to die in it as “many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow.”

Chacha Eke further stated that her estranged husband should be held responsible if she suddenly goes incommunicado.

In October 2020 Chacha announced that her marriage to the movie director has ended, disclosing that he assaulted her.

She, however, retracted her statement, stating that the drama that surrounded her marriage at the time was due to the bipolar disorder she was suffering from.

Chacha and Austin got married in 2013.
