Few days after the pictures of the graduation of Governor Nyesom Wike’s son flooded the internet, the son of yet another governor has passed out from a United Kingdom University.

Nigerians had expressed outrage over how the children of the rich were passing out from elite schools while those schooling in the country have been affected by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.

Among those who weighed in on the issue was Super Eagles Star, Ahmed Musa.

In an Instagram post, Musa said, “To our political office holders whose children school abroad. How do you feel visiting your children abroad, taking pictures in their schools and posting online while ASUU is on strike? “Like seriously, how is it ok to you? You’re running a system that you don’t even believe in. Show me one Oyibo leader whose child is schooling in Nigeria. E no day touch una? And when you return Nigerian youths will still gather and sing praises for una.[sic]”

But days after this, the siblings of Mohammed Sani Badaru, the son of Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, shared pictures of his graduation from Brunel University in London.

Wife of the governor and some family members attended the graduation.
