Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar while congratulating delegates and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for hosting a peaceful convention, pleaded with those who feel aggrieved or discriminated upon during the party’s congresses to bury their grevieances and work for the overall good of the party.

Atiku who made the remark while addressing delegates before the commencement of voting, said that PDP is poised to sack the ruling party.

He said that the orderliness at the convention is a foretaste that the voting will be credible and transparent.

He said, “the order in the organising this convention shows that the party is ready to return to the centre.

“This convention is historic because it is the last convention in the era of APC”.

He pleaded with the delegates to continue to be united no matter to level of provocation, adding that the party must continue to be united until the APC is booted out.

He lamented that a lot of aspirants felt disenfranchised and discriminated against in the ongoing convention and pleaded with the leadership of the party to do everything possible to unite everyone for the good of the party.
