PDP: EFCC operatives invade convention venue

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has beseached the velodrome convention venue of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The operatives numbering about ten were observed hanging in strategic corners and entrance gate of the venue of the convention.

It was learnt that the anti-graft agencies were drafted to the venue to take appropriate action should Incase the aspirant get themselves into financial inducement during the exercise.

A cheftain of the party who would not like his name to be mentioned when the sighted the presence of the operatives said, “It is good they are here. Let them share the money and get arrested. We also hope that they we will be present as well during the convention of the APC”.

The chieftain expressed worry at the level of monitization of the political process lamenting that credible leaders will never emerge in the country of the process is not sanitized.

However, it is still unclear if the operatives were drafted to arrest a particular individual at the convention venue.
