A brand new 60MVA 132/33kV power transformer recently taken to Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN’s) Birnin Kebbi Substation, Kebbi State, has been placed on the plinth as part of the installation process.
After installation has been completed, the transformer will increase capacity by 45MW and boost power supply in Birnin Kebbi and environs, according to a statement by the TCN.
The statement issued on Thursday further explained that the transformer is part of TCN’s FGN project.
