President Bola Tinubu has submitted the Tax Reform Bills to the House of Representatives and said this aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
Reading the letter on the floor of the House, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon.Tajudeen Abbas, said that President Tinubu solicited for expedite consideration of the Bills
According to President Tinubu, the proposed Tax Reform Bills present substantial benefits to the present administration fiscal reform that will enhance tax payer compliance and boost Socio-economic development of Nigeria.
President Tinubu emphasized that if the bills are passed into law it will encourage and attract more investment in Nigeria.
The Tax Reform Bills are, Nigeria Tax Bill, Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, Nigeria Revenue Establishment Bill and the joint Revenue Board Establishment Bill.
