In order to support the Super Eagles in today’s Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal match against Angola, Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the most recent election, has traveled to Cote d’Ivoire (AFCON).
Valentine Ozigbo, a prominent member of the Labour Party, revealed in a post on his official Facebook page.
“Have just landed in Côte d’Ivoire with HE @PeterObi to help our flying Super Eagles win in the AFCON 2023 Quarterfinals,” he posted. Lunch at the Sofitel Abidjan was rather enjoyable.
Peter Obi is spotted below in Abidjan supporting Super Eagles in their match against Angola.
Obi was at the popular stand with members of the Supporters Club of Nigeria cheering the Super Eagles to victory.
He stood all through the encounter, gyrating to the music of the Supporters Club.
The General Manager, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. Oseloka Obaze, @OselokaHObaze wrote: “As Nigeria beats Angola, @PeterObi was there to give moral support. A good leader is a good follower. He has always been supportive of our national teams.
A lone goal from Ademola Lookman in the 41st minute gave Nigeria the lead and victory.
But all eyes were on Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, who was on the popular stand to cheer the Nigerian players with other football fans.
