The website of Labour Party (LP) on Friday night suffered a crash as Nigerians rush to register for the party’s membership online ahead of the party’s primary elections.

The development came barely hours after Anambra ex-governor and frontline PDP presidential aspirant, Mr Peter Obi, formally joined the LP and indicated interest in the party’s presidential ticket.

Checks conducted  on the party’s website late Friday night shows that the website had exceeded the bandwidth limit arising from the huge number of traffic it recorded within the last 24 hours.
