A chieftain of the All Progressives Congres (APC), in Lagos, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, has ex7pressed disgust at the party over what he described as rewarding “cowards, interlopers, and Idle people” in the recently-released Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) list ahead of the 2023 General election.

He lamented that the APC reward system is poor and would negatively affect the party in the forthcoming election.

The campaign council list, which comprises over 400 members (and even non-members of the party), was made public last Friday by the PCC Secretary, Hon. James Faleke, a federal lawmaker.

Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, who defected to the APC last year and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and Senator representing Enugu-East Senatorial zone, Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani, made the list.

Reacting, Igbokwe in a post on his Facebook page said, ”All things considered, APC Nigeria poor reward system in Nigeria worries me to the marrows.

”The party rewards idle people, hangers-on, layabouts, interlopers, cowards, onlookers etc.”

The former Enugu State Governor who had severally attacked supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was sighted as number 350 on the council list. The federal lawmaker representing the Enugu East Senatorial District at the upper chamber, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani was listed as a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, for the forthcoming 2023 election.

The person, who should have been listed is former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, a member of the council and one of the Spokesmen, Mr Bayo Onanuga, clarified in a chat with a national daily.

Lamenting the mix-up, Mr. Onanuga said the mistake could have arisen from the fact that Chimaroke shares a surname with Ken is also a prominent politician from Enugu.

“It is an error. It should be Ken Nnamani,” he said.
