Mrs Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of the former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, is back in Nigeria.
A source revealed that Mrs Ekweremadu, who was sentenced to five years in the UK prison for organ harvesting, had been released and had returned to the country on Tuesday.
She was earlier reported to have returned to her home in Aninri Local Government of Enugu State, but sources say she landed in Abuja and has remained in their mansion at the nation’s capital.
Senator Ekweremadu, the wife and one Dr Obinna Obeta, who assisted in obtaining one Master Wamini from Ebonyi State, were sentenced to prison by a UK court for their involvement in organ harvesting.

The former number four citizen was sentenced to 10 years, his wife was sentenced to six years.
Her release and subsequent return followed the completion of her time in prison custody.
