Information making the round suggests strongly that former Imo State Governor, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abuja and and frontline aspirant of the Imo State PDP governorship contest is likely to withdraw from the contest scheduled for April 15.
According to his Personal Assistant, Hon. Azubuike Osuji, Ihedioha made the announcement in a letter he addressed to the National Chairman of the party dated March 27.
Osuji informed that the politician is withdrawing from the race in the interest of the unity of the party.
His media aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu, also confirmed the development when contacted on telephone.
