Stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on New Year eve, yelled after the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Team brought God into the crisis in the party with an injunction on Governor Nyesom Wike to honour the vows he made before the Almighty to support the winner of the party’s presidential primary.
Recall that Wike, who was an aspirant for the presidential ticket of the PDP, had at the convention ground in Abuja last May, declared that he would support whoever emerges winner of the primary.
However, following issues on alleged deal between Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State and Atiku, coupld with Ayu’s refusal to step down, Wike reneged on his words and refused to support Atiku.
Wike who is the leader of the G-5 governors, who equally toom the same stand, recently declared that the group would take a position on who to support and that the person would not be Atiku.
Dino Melaye, one of the spokesmen of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, however, further dragged the issue on New Year eve when he posted a video clip of Wike promising to support the winner of the PDP ticket and urged him to fulfil his vow supposedly made before God.
He said: Nyeson Wike, Governor of Rivers State, promising to support anyone who wins PDP presidential primary . This integrity statement is now facing an integrity test. Mr Governor, please honour your vow that was made before God and man because we shall all account for all vows made.

He is accountable to GOD, GOD has since forgiven him. So get on with ur life and move on. In 2015, Atiku committed a crime against the PDP, Nigeria and Nigerians. Has he asked Nigerians and Party faithfuls for forgiveness? Has he gone personally to PGEJ to seek his forgiveness?
