Former chief of staff to Willie Obaino, Sir Primus Odili has congratulated Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano who won the primary election of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Senatorial district of Anambra North.

Odili in a statememt wrote: “Congratulations, Mrs Victoria Ebelechukwu Obiano on your victory at the just concluded APGA primaries of Anambra North Senatorial Zone.

“I accept whole heartedly the outcome of the election despite evident conspiracies and connivance with the Police to disenfranchise. Elections of this kind and indeed of any kind is not and should never be seen as a do or die affair.

“We should be able to rise above the level of the naive in all that we do including politics and politicking.

“I accept once more the outcome of the just  concluded elections in the best interest of our great party. The Primaries was free, fair and credible despite all odds.

“I also wish to thank my supporters for believing in me , for supporting me through thick and thin.

“It is obvious that we carried out our campaign in the most professional manner despite unwarranted provocations and unfounded allegations meant to smear our integrity and person.

“Thank you for remaining consistent in the face of such challenge. The future is brighter and holds better things for all of us.

“May God Almighty continue to bless you all. Congratulations once more , Mrs V. E. Obiano”.

Mrs Obiano, at the APGA primary held at Chuba Ikpeazu stadium, Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government Area, scored 152 votes while her closest rival, Odili got 120.
