Just few hours after the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo made public his intention to run for the Presidency, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and who is also a presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, convened a consultative meeting with some APC Governors in Abuja.

Recall that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had hosted the governors at his Aguda House residence on Sunday evening; where he disclosed his intention to join the race.

Tinubu had in January informed the President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to succeed him.

Some of the governors cited at the meeting include: Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Mai Mala Binu of Yobe, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa.

More details coming soon.
