The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has released popular Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest,

Cubana Chief Priest was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on his way to Owerri, the Imo State capital.

He was quizzed by the anti-graft agency over alleged tax fraud and money laundering.

He hosted an Instagram live session with Obi Cubana confirming his release.

Speaking shortly after his release, the celebrity barman took to his Instagram, saying he has been tested okay by the EFCC.

His post read: “EFCC tested Ok,Thank You family, I will never forget.

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, make Una resend all my birthday wishes.”

The EFCC had on Sunday confirmed the arrest of Pascal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.

The entertainment entrepreneur according to reports was nabbed by operatives of the EFCC at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja while making plans to board a flight to Owerri, Imo State.

When contacted on Sunday night, the spokesman of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed the development but however, shied away from revealing further details of the arrest.
