Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has been conferred with the ‘Ohadike 1 of Ndigbo’ chieftaincy title in Ghana.
The 45-year-old actor announced the latest feat with a video posted on his verified Instagram page on Wednesday night. He arrived in Ghana with a number of friends for the ceremony.
His Excellency, Amb. Chukwudi J Ihenetu, the Eze Ndigbo Ghana, conferred the title during the grandiose 10th Yam Festival.
According to Ihenetu, Iyke was honoured for his outstanding achievements and services to the African entertainment business and the Igbo people.
In 2018, a number of Nigerian celebrities, including D’banj, Alex Ekubo, and Teddy A, were bestowed with chieftaincy titles.
