Serie A champions AC Milan have reportedly sent FC Midtjylland an offer for Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika as they continue to hunt for a Franck Kessie replacement.
The Rossoneri lost the 25-year-old Ivorian midfielder last month after his contract expired, and they still need to pick up a replacement for Stefano Pioli.
Milan had their eye on Renato Ssnches for weeks but they ultimately lost out to Paris Saint-Germain, forcing them to look elsewhere for a new midfield reinforcement.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have offered €4m plus add-ons to Midtjylland for Onyedika.
The Danish side want around €10m, so further talks are needed to try and bring the two parties closer together.
The Rossoneri are fans of the 21-year-old Nigerian midfielder and are keen to iron out a deal soon, keen to add another young talent to their squad.
Last season, Onyedika made 48 appearances across all competitions for Midtjylland, for a total of 4086 minutes.
In that time, he scored four goals, provided three assists and picked up 15 yellow cards, playing a key role in front of the defence.
