A humanitarian group, Irene Ezekwe Empowerment Foundation has thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards his re-election bid in 2027 poll, by mobilizing women, men and youths to support the project.

The Foundation, under the auspices of Tinubu Support Group, on Thursday May 4, 2026, mobilized thousands of women and youths, educating them on the achievements of President Tinubu and the need to re-election him. They pledged their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

The event, which held at the Tinubu Support Group headquarters, Abuja, drew State Co-ordinators, including the DG of Tinubu Support Group and the DG of ‘Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria’.

Founder Amb. Irene Chukwunonso Ezekwe said the event reaffirms the Foundation’s commitment to service, empowerment and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Today is not only a celebration of our collective commitment to service, empowerment, and national development, but also an opportunity to reaffirm our support for the Renewed Hope Agenda,” she said assuredly.

She listed 30 of “over 300 verifiable achievements,” of President Tinubu’s administration to include; fuel subsidy removal, N70,000 minimum wage, N250bn MOFI real estate fund, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, CNG transport initiative, N100bn National Agricultural Fund, NELFUND student loan, and Supreme Court-backed financial autonomy for 774 LGAs.

The foundation said its work aligns with the administration by promoting community development and empowering vulnerable groups, women and youth. It runs training and agricultural programs, especially for widows, with beneficiary records available on its website.

Announcing its political mobilization, Amb. Irene declared: “I want to use my organization, my foundation, and my NGO to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2027 election. We are expecting more than 500 people for only Abuja today to show Mr. President that we are capable.”

She added that cash and food items were distributed to beneficiaries at the event, and that the foundation’s programs have “national spread” across Nigeria.

The group pledged “unwavering dedication to advancing the Renewed Hope vision” through sustained community empowerment.

Amb. Irene urged citizens to “relax, Tinubu is fixing Nigeria,” while calling for unity, peace and continued support for good governance.

The DG of Tinubu Support Group, Amb. Umar Yakassai called on Nigerians to turn out en mass to vote for President Tinubu in 2027 to continue with the public centric agenda.

He explained that the President does not have all the resources at once to address the myriad of challenges confronting the nation hence, they are being done in piecemeal.

“we also tell ourselves the truth that with the limited resources available to the federal government and a lot of development that needs to take place, the money that is available cannot address them all at once.”

Stakeholders and beneficiaries at the event pledged their support and assurance to intensify grassroots sensitization ahead of the 2027 polls.
