The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has urged retirees under the CPS to enroll in the free healthcare initiative, PenCare.
The Commission stated that retirees of at least 60 years with monthly pension that is not more than N70,000 are eligible for the exercise.
“If you are at least 60 years old and receive a monthly pension that is not more than ₦70,000 from a Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), you qualify for this pilot phase.”
According to the Commission, in a circular issued on Friday, May 15, 2026, the registration is open for up to 30,000 eligible retirees on a first-come, first-served basis.
It directed retirees that met the criteria to register via the Commission’s website, www.pencom.gov.ng or any of the PFAs’ websites today.
PenCare is a CSR project dedicated to preserving your dignity and well-being by reducing the burden of medical expenses.
