Leading provider of digital and connectivity services, Globacom, has commended Nigerian workers for their dedication and continued contributions to national development.

The commendation was made as workers around the world mark the 2026 International Workers’ Day.

In a statement in Lagos, Globacom recognized the vital role workers play in driving Nigeria’s growth, affirming that workers “remain a key lever in the progress of any country”.

The company advised workers in both the public and private sectors to “remain committed and focused”, emphasizing that “their efforts are critical to achieving sustained progress”.

According to Globacom, “we urge workers not to relent in giving their best to the growth and development of the country”.

Recall that the International Workers’ Day is celebrated every year on May 1st to honour the contributions and importance of workers globally.
