BBNaija Lockdown winner and music artiste Big Brother Naija star Laycon has revealed that his victory on the reality show had a life-changing impact on his family, stating that it helped save his mother’s life.

Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, Laycon said the financial rewards and opportunities that followed his win came at a critical time, providing support when his family needed it most.

He also reflected on the personal challenges that followed his sudden rise to fame, admitting that he “lost his inner voice” due to pressure and public expectations.

According to him, while BBNaija opened doors in music, film, and other creative fields, he has remained cautious about opportunities, often questioning whether they are driven by talent or popularity.

Laycon added that despite the challenges, the reality show ultimately transformed both his life and that of his family, shaping his journey in entertainment and personal growth. (Blueprint)
