The Management Board the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has vowed never to leave anything to chance to ensure that security of telecommunication infrastructures is guaranteed across the country.
Due to this desire, the Chairman of the Board, Chief Idris Olorunnimbe, and the Executive Vice/Chairman/CEO of the Commission, Dr. Aminu Maida, paid a visit to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Disu, at the Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja on Friday.
During the visit discussions crystalised on deepening collaboration to ensure the security of telecommunication infrastructure and the on-going implementation of the Presidential Order on Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII).

The NCC board also sought for enhanced cooperation between the police and the regulatory agency to improve Nigeria’s overall security architecture.
