Hon. Dame Rita Daniels has appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience with the government of President Bola Tinubu, stressing that one tenure is not enough for him to finish what he has started.

Dame Rita Daniels, mother of popular Nigerian Actress, Reginah Daniels, made the appeal on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Abuja, on the sidelines of a World Press Conference of Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates (NTCA), a political organization that is mobilizing support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Dame Daniels, who is the Director of Strategy, Partnership and Collaboration of NCTA, noted that President Tinubu has done well but needs much more time to perfect the laudable programmes he has initiated.

“He (President Tinubu) is actually doing well. I believe that by the grace of God he will perfect what he has not done within this short period. Giving him another opportunity is for him to conclude what he has not finished. So, we all ask for continuity. Let’s not use one term to judge our President. At least he has given us a lot to appreciate,” she enthused.

She asked Nigerians to give Mr President a chance for another tenure to enable him complete and perfect all that he has started.

On NTCA’s agenda for the President’s re-election, Dame Daniels said they are ready to walk side by side with Mr President to ensure his victory come 2027.

“We have no other place to go. We, at NCTA are all for Mr President. No vacancy in Aso Rock. On his mandate we stand,” she declared.

Speaking earlier, the group’s Director General, Alhaji Dr Bello Maigari said their choice of Tinubu was based on his performance trajectories as former Lagos State Governor and his current laudable economic, social and infrastructure transformation as President.

He explained that the event was a reflection of their collective commitment to national stability, progressive leadership, and the continued transformation of the Nigerian nation.

“Today, we gather not only to review the extraordinary achievements of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, both as former Governor of Lagos State and as the current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but also to formally declare NTCA’s Grand Endorsement and Unshakable Support for his re-election in 2027.

“We are convinced beyond any doubt that President Tinubu remains the most capable, visionary, courageous, and results-driven leader to sustain Nigeria’s progress and secure a prosperous future for generations to come, Maigari stated.”

Pledging 10 million votes for President Tinubu’s re-election, Maigari stated that the Association has 2.5 million members, comprising youth, women, men, professionals, Community, influencers, and grassroots, mobilisers with functional network across the 36 states and the FCT.

He highlighted their winning strategies to include: “Community-based mobilisation,
Ward-to-ward engagement,
Digital messaging amplification,
Targeted youth and women outreach,
Door-to-door persuasion campaigns, and Election day turnout activation at polling units.”
