Technology Company, Globacom, has unveiled Gloshare and Mobile Community plan, a revolutionary platform designed to enhance academic and social connections among students of Kwara State University (KWASU).

The launch took place at the KWASU Campus in Malete, Kwara State, where Globacom introduced a blended learning system, Gloshare, that enables students to access educational materials on the school portal without using their data.

“We also have the Closed user group lines, which makes it possible to have everyone in KWASU community on the same platform, where students and staff can interact freely on their CUG lines”, Enterprise South West Regional Head, Mr. Adewale Adiatu, disclosed at the launch.

Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, Enterprise National Vertical Head, Glo Enterprise Sales, equally said at the event that the company has also installed multiple sites on the campus to ensure seamless performance of Gloshare and Mobile Community lines.

The Vice Chancellor of KWASU, Prof. Shaykh Luqman Jimoh, hailed the launch as a historic and futuristic moment, emphasizing the transformative impact of Gloshare and Mobile Community plan on communication, connectivity, and collaboration among students.

The Students’ Union Government President, Mallam Abdulafeez Babatunde Kewulere, expressed gratitude to Globacom for selecting KWASU as the first beneficiary of the Gloshare service.

He encouraged students to leverage these innovative tools to enhance their academic experience and stay ahead in the digital world.
