The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announces the restoration of bulk power supply through its 60MVA TRI transformer at Kukwaba 132/33kV Transmission Substation, on 13th of June, 2024 at 5:51pm.
Recall that the transformer was opened on emergency to trace and rectify the cause of sudden smoke from the transformer.
This has since been rectified and the transformer restored to service, according to Ndidi Mba, General-Manager, Public Affairs, TCN.
“Consequently, Abuja Disco can now offtake bulk power for distribution to its customers in Galadimawa, Games Village, National stadium, Sunny Vale, Kabusa Gardens, TSF Eye clinic, AMMSCO Estate, Sun City, parts of Kabusa, Same Global, Durumi, American International School, Sabo Lugbe, TradeMore Estate, Pyakasa, Aleita/Chika and Ako Estate.
“TCN apologises for every inconvenience caused during the period,” she stated.
