“Imeobi Ohanaeze”commends Prof. Obiozor’s leadership

Sticks on Nigerian President of Igbo extraction in 2023

The highest decision making body of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, “Imeobi” has commended the current leadership of the apex body of Nsigbo led by Amb. Prof. George Obiozor, as living up to expectation, and ratified the 2021 election that ushered in the leadership. 


The Imeobi called on every other Igbo socio cultural pressure group to cue under Prof.George Obiozor led  Ohanaeze Ndigbo,stating it is the highest and only organization that is mandated to talk and issue directives on behalf of the Igbo nation,world over, on any national issue that concerns the Igbo nation.


Imeobi Ohanaeze in it’s meeting held at the National Secretariat of the organization on Thursday,May 5, extolled all the 2023  Presidential aspirants of Igbo origin for their resilience and commitment in the struggle and tasked the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to set up communities that would be tasked with responsibilities of reaching out to other tribes and zones to share in the quest for Nigerian President of Igbo extraction is for the cause of justice,equity and fair play.


The Igbo highest decision body also advocated for political solution in resolving the incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, insisting that his release will curtail youth restiveness in the South-East and beyond.

Imeobi Ohanaeze also condemned the rate of insecurity in Nigeria as a country.
