Governor Nyesome Wike has said that politics cannot separate brethren and that he is pleased with Governor Emmanuel’s visit to him.
Wike expressed his feelings when interviewed by Journalists after a visit by the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, who described his visit as a brotherly visit to Governor Wike. When quizzed further as to why the visit was necessary, Governor Emmanuel said “I and Wike have been exchanging brotherly visits, so there is nothing strange about my visit. The issues we discussed are private because brotherly conversations are very private”.
Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom confirmed that the issues they discussed were hinged on how they as brothers, can better their states and the country.
