Erstwhile Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia has said the team would have struggled to make a meaningful impact at the just concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars of Ghana stopped the Super Eagles from earning a place at the mundial.

Siasia opined that the defeat to Ghana is a prove that the Super Eagles would have been embarrassed at the competition.

“We would have been embarrassed out of the World Cup with shocking scorelines,”Siasia told Football Live.

“The Super Eagles have no business going to the World Cup and losing out to the Ghana team we played against is enough proof.”

The Super Eagles have featured six times at the mundial making it to the second round thrice.

Siasia was part of the Super Eagles team that made their debut appearance at the mundial in United States of America in 1994.
