AFCON 2025: Algeria pip DR Congo, to face Super Eagles in quarter-finals

Algeria booked a date with Nigeria in the Round of 16 of  the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after a  hard-earned 1-0 win Democratic Republic of Congo.

Both teams could not be separated after 90 minutes with the game going into extra time.

Adil Boulbina scored the winning goal for Algeria in the 119th minute.

The Desert Foxes and Super Eagles will clash at the Marrakesh Stadium on Saturday.

The game will kick-off at 5pm Nigerian time.
