Soludo gets another endorsement, bags Olu-Atuegwu title again

Ahead the November 8 governorship election, Gov Charles Soludo on Saturday got endorsement from the people of Anambra South senatorial district for his reelection.

The endorsement rally took place at Ekwulobia Township Stadium in Aguata LGA of the State.

Olu-Atuegwu title was also bestowed on Gov Soludo by the traditional rulers from Anambra South senatorial zone supervised by the Chairman of Traditional Rulers Council in the state, Igwe Dubem Iweka.

The occasion brought together the prominent stakeholders, political appointees and the business class who started trooping to the venue of the rally early before the scheduled time of takeoff.

The Chairman of the occasion, Dr Christopher Eze said that the rally was a way of appreciating Prof Soludo for his outstanding performance in the last three years.

He said that since the axiom of more work as reward for hard work cannot be wished away, the people of the zone have unanimously agreed to endorse Gov Soludo reelection for second term so that he can continue his good work.

All the persons who spoke at the occasion extolled the leadership qualities of Olu-Atuegwu who they all said has moved the state forward with an unprecedented prudent financial management.

In his speech, Gov Soludo appreciated the stakeholders, politicians and the business community as well as all the people of Anambra South senatorial zone for endorsing his second term in office.

He said that the spate of chieftaincy titles bestowed on him across the three senatorial zones highlights the faith Ndi-Anambra have in his administration.

Gov Soludo said that he has gotten so many endorsements not minding the fact that he has not even constituted his campaign council or commenced his  election campaign.

The Anambra State governor presented his score.card to Ndi-Anambra South senatorial zone at the occasion.

The highlight of the rally was the presentation of one hundred million Naira check to Gov Soludo by the organizers of the event and the unveiling of Chief Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugo) as the APGA candidate in the August 16 senatorial bye election.

Over two hundred support groups attended the Ekwulobia Township Stadium rally with their teeming members.
