The burial of former president, Muhammadu Buhari earlier scheduled today, Monday, has been postponed.

Recall that the interment was earlier scheduled today, but will now hold on Tuesday, July 15.

The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda, made the announcement while addressing journalists on Monday.

He said, “we have made consultation with his family and people around him in London, we have concluded that the body will arrive tomorrow by 12pm.”

According to him, Buhari will be laid to rest at 2pm on Tuesday, July 15.

It could be recalled that President Bola Tinubu sent Vice-President Kashim Shettima to London, from where he is expected to accompany Buhari’s remains back to Nigeria.
